About ODTNT

Old Dominion Tactical Narcotic Training, (ODTNT), was created September 15, 2005. Co-founded by John Hoover, Kenny Garrett, Kent Daniel, Jeff Robertson, and Josh Carter, it is a company that specializes in training law enforcement personnel. Most outside training that police officers receive is taught by retired professionals. ODTNT was created to meet the need for training by active police officers. All instructors are full-time, sworn police officers that teach from experience.

Mission/Vision

The mission of ODTNT is to provide quality instruction to the law enforcement community. We strive to teach the latest information on all topics to keep you, our brothers in blue, ahead of the game. Our training is the real deal, for Cops, by Cops.
All ODTNT instructors are full-time, sworn police officers with a working knowledge of each topic and tactic taught. With active duty officers teaching our classes we bring the latest information on street drugs, crime trends, and tactics. Policing is a “real time” occupation; it is critical to have the most up-to-date information to be successful in fighting crime.

People

Our cadre of instructors have over fifty years of combined experience. We teach from experience, from what really happens on the street.

UPDATE:  The Board of Directors at ODTNT are proud to announce the addition of Alan Bower to ODTNT.  Alan is a long time police officer and is currently hold the rank of Sergeant at the Roanoke, Virginia Police Department.  The staff at ODTNT is excited about working with Alan and is excited about the level of experience that he adds to the teaching core.
